   Goychay region is situated in the center of Azerbaijan Republic,northern part of Shirvan plain,at the foothills of the Caucasian Mountain.Goychay is bordered North-East by Ismayilli,South -East by Kurdamir,South by Ujar,West by Agdash.Traditionally,agriculture,processing industry and other sectors of industry has had a loading role in the economy of Goychay region.
    Pomegranate industry is the main income of the population in the living area of Goychay . Approximately,24 thousands tons of products from pomegranate gardens is taken in 3000 hectars in the region every year. In addition to the internal market pomegranate fruit grown in Goychay is exported to the CIS countries,United States,Canada,Israel and European countries.There are different sorts of pomegranate,such as "gülöyşə", ''balamürsəl" ,"vələs" ",meyxoş" and other varieties are cultivated in Goychay .
    Pomegranate fruit and its crust is used for the treatment nearly 20 diseases. Each year,the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is celebrated traditionally" pomegranate holiday" in Goychay . "Parallel" LLC for the regional economic reforms with the contribution of the Ministry of Economic development loans and own funds has built "Cold Storage Complex" capacity of 2000 (two thousand)in the village of Arabjabirli in Goychay is currently in use.This modern refrigerator warehouse is used for the storage of fruits and vegetables in the region and also the fruits of individual enrepreneous in Shirvan region for the preservation of the fruits.The products are stored here during 3-7 months. These products are palm,pomegranate,quince,apple which are exported not only domestic markets and also Eastern European countires Russia,The Ukrain and other CIS countries markets

Refrigerator storage is located in the village of Goychay Arabjabirli II.The warehouse is located on the right side of the highway to the region of AGdash. . It's intended for some regions according to its geographical position(Goychay, Agdash, Ucar, Ismayilli, etc.)

The capacity of the Refrigerator 2000 tone of storage of capacity 200 tone with 8 unit and 400 tone with 9 cell of 1 unit. Refrigerator storage is designed for storage of the fruits and vegetables ,especially pomegranate, persimmon, quince, apple, tomato, etc that are produced in the region.Fruits and vegetables are packed and sent in accordance with modern standarts .
